Ok I have lots of pictures to show what we have been doing. Elizabeth is so amazing. She is talking so much. She talks in sentences, she sings over 10 songs, she knows her abc's, she can sing the abc song, she knows her shapes and colors, she loves to do puzzles, she is so smart. I'm so in love with my child. Everyday is so much fun with her. I keep thinking I must have done something great to deserve such a wonderful little girl to love.
Pictures from Easter. We hid eggs and our little bunny girl found all of them with no problem!
ice cream at the mall
Fun with Daddy. I love this picture.
Playing with Mommy's glasses.
St. Patricks Day, playing outside.
Fun at the park.
My sister Pat came down for a visit, this is Elizabeth with her cousin Taylor.
Been a long time, I'm going to do my best to post more often. I miss my journaling! Here is a sneak peak at our new house. This is a picture of the back of the house. Don't ask why I don't have a picture of the front, I was just so excited with the inside that I forgot to take pictures! We will be going up again soon so I will take pictures of the front and inside and I will post them. So here it is, and I will update more tomorrow with pictures of my yummy daughter.
I'm really into posting this week, darn I'm being good!
Elizabeth and I had a play date with Thelma and Jimmy today. We went to their house in Pompano. Had a great time. Thelma is my favorite friend from my old Holy Cross Mommy and Me group. The kids played so cute together. We filmed them holding hands and walking down the hall together. So friggin CUTE!!!! They always held hands when they were babies too (see below - look how little the were!). Oh, and Thelma is pregnant YAY!!! I'm so excited for her :) Yay Yay Yay!
Anyway after dinner tonight Tom and I took Elizabeth to Toys R Us and bought her the Little Tikes basket ball hoop. She loves to play with the one at Nova so we decided to get her one for home. It will last until she is about 10 or something like that. I will post pics of her playing once my camera is up and running again. So on the way home from the store I smell this horrible stink, Tom is on his cell phone but he tells me Elizabeth pooped. I turn around and ask her and she just gives me the wide eye look (so beautiful by the way). We get home and I go to get her out of her car seat and there is the poop all over her and the car seat!!!! Our first diaper explosion like that! Tom rushed her up to the bath and I scrubbed the seat. All is well.
Well I have a few points left for the day and I'm craving cereal really bad so I'm off to eat a snack.
Elizabeth and I went to the Miami Seaquarium today. We had a blast!!! Marlene and Madison came with us. Elizabeth loved being with her Madison. The minute we turned the corner to go to Marlene's house Elizabeth piped up from the back seat and said "Madison, Madison". She knew where we were! I didn't even have to tell her. During lunch Elizabeth looked over at Madison and said "love you". She is so cute! She also said "dolphin Madison". We just had a fun day. Elizabeth loved seeing the dolphins and the Manatees. We got a free annual pass so now we can go back anytime we want. Love it :)
Well last night I went over and joined a new gym. I did a complete workout including running and it was great. I was so happy to be back to working out. So the pounds should start to fall off now. Yay.
We had the best day today. We took Elizabeth to Metro Zoo, and we had so much fun. We bought a family pass so now we can go as much as we want, and I even added an extra person so I can bring a guest for free anytime (um Jamie...get down here!). Elizabeth loved the animals. She made all the sounds for the animals, she loved the birds, she was up close to an elephant, and she rode the carosel. We loved it. When we were leaving I asked Elizabeth where she was today and she smiled at me and said "the zoo!". The way she says zoo is so friggin CUTE!!!
Elizabeth is saying a new word every hour!!!! She is so smart. Her new thing this past week has been the word MINE. She is also saying I love you, and she sings the Barney I love you song from start to finish. She sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, A Rum Sum Sum (with the hand movements), and the Hello song. Her coloring has changed, she is being more direct (I guess that's the word I'm looking for) with her drawing. She is just so much fun. Life could not get any better.
I'm staring back on weight watchers this Tuesday. I still have about 12 pounds to go. Pray for me. I really haven't been trying to diet, so now the serious stuff starts.
The builder has started our house!!!! We went up there last weekend to look at our lot, and they had the house framed out in the dirt!!! So darn excited. I will post pictures of it once the foundation is poured and it starts to look more like a house.
Still busy with music class and the little gym. Elizabeth loves them both. We are going to add the swimming lessons in a week or so. Busy as ever :)
So yeah, Elizabeth and I are sick AGAIN!!!! We really have a horrible flu. So over it already. It has been seven days and we seem to worse not better.
Anyway....we were in Disney last weekend. We had so much fun. We had a character breakfast and lunch. Elizabeth loved them both. We did the Magic Kingdom, MGM, and Animal Kingdom. It was so cold in Orlando, but we loved it. We stayed at the Polanesian Resort. Very nice, loved it. We got home last Monday, and have been sick ever since. I will post pictures from our trip later.
I sent my Sony camera in to be fixed, I can not wait to get it back. I love that camera. My kodak is now broken!!! So I guess no pictures for a week or so.
Well my mother-in-law broke her pelvic bone on Thursday. She is doing ok, and her spirits are up, but she has a long recovery. I feel so bad for her, she is pain. She was in the hospital for two days, and now is so happy to be home. She is such a trooper.
We had a good weekend. I went to Jenna's babyshower on Saturday afernoon, and that was a lot of fun. Instead of games we decorated onsies, and that was fun. I made one that said "I Love My Sister". The food was good, and it was great to see family.
Today my sister came over and played with Elizabeth while Tom and I totally cleaned out our garage. We had a friend with a truck come by and haul away a TON of crap. Now we are ready to begin packing as we only have things left that we want to take to the new house. Yay us. After working in the garage my sister and I went to Costco, I bought two books to read and some blueberries. After Costco Elizabeth and I planted some seeds in her garden. She loved it. My Mom got her the cutest little garden set that has a watering can and garden tools, and she loved working with that stuff. Tom filmed us working in the garden together.
Sad news. I found out that our neighbors that live across the street from us lost their baby last week. The wife was six months pregnant. I feel so sad for them. I've cried off and on, and I have been hugging Elizabeth extra tight this evening. How horrible. They are the niecest couple, and the were so excited. The baby was a boy. I so hope and pray that they will be able to have another baby. So so so sad.
