I Could Not Ask For More 2007: Great Weekend

We had the best weekend. Saturday morning we got up early and went out to buy our Christmas tree. Elizabeth was very excited. We found a cute place off of Southern Boulevard called Tree Town. They have a huge tent, and a big display of lights. We plan on going back one night so Elizabeth can see the lights. Any way we found the perfect tree. This year we got a Douglas Pine. I wanted a really "furry" tree so we decided to try this kind out. So far I LOVE it! It is such a beautiful tree. After we got the tree we took it home put it in water, and then headed back out to do some Christmas shopping. We went to Costco, then Homedepot and then Target. We were out the entire day and Elizabeth was good as gold. She's always good, but Saturday was very busy. It was nice to get some of the main part of our Christmas shopping done. We also bought some Christmas lights for the outside of the house and two prelit trees for our patio. We had a lot of fun.

Today we stayed home to decorate. Tom actually painted his office room with a friend who came by to help. He painted it a green color that looks soooo GREAT. I put the lights and garland on our big Christmas tree, and then I decorated Elizabeth's table top tree. The little tree looks so beautiful! We are going to put the ornaments on the big tree tomorrow night when Tom gets home from work. We do the big tree together as a family, it's a special thing for us. Even more special b/c this year Elizabeth can really help, and she is so excited by it all. I will post pictures of both trees once we are done.
