The Meaning

On June 22, 2005 at 6:40 p.m. I realized why I'm here on this earth:

Elizabeth words can not express the love I feel for you. You are the missing peace that fell into place and made me feel complete. Before I knew you were growing inside of me I said that I'd be ok if I was not pregnant, that my life would still be great. I was so wrong! I would have been so lost without you. What did I ever do without you? Your Daddy and I are so very blessed to have you, and we will thank God for you for the rest of our lives. Always know that you are the center of our world, the love of our lives, and that you will always be our precious baby.

Balls for Breakfast

I was rolling on the floor this morning. After getting Elizabeth dressed I said to her "let's go downstairs and have some cereal" she says "no no Mommy I just want balls for breakfast". She was referring to the Kix cereal I just bought for her on the weekend. She's never had it so it's a big deal right now. She didn't remember the name of the cereal so she called it balls. I'm laughing as I type this.

While she napped today I decorated her play room for Christmas. I put up garland and candy cane lights, and I put a singing Christmas tree on her little table. When she got up from her nap and saw her play room she giggled and then said "wow". She is so cute.

Here are some pictures of her playing outside this morning (she was giving her baby a bath). She soaked her outfit so she ended up in just a diaper.

Here is a picture of her eating chips out of the gold fish net. I didn't know she had this until I turned around and saw her with it, I laughed my head off!

Here are some pictures of us goofing around in her playroom.

Well I guess I'm on a roll her with my posting. I forgot how much I like to do this! I really need to print out my entries and add them to the print journal I keep for Elizabeth.

Mr. Snowman

Look at what Elizabeth found in the lobby after school this afternoon:

She got such a kick out of the snowman being in the building!

Can I just say my child is amazing. She is just so wonderful in every way. I have never been so head over heels in my entire life!

Today was my day to leave her in class alone without me. She had no problem with me leaving at all. I left when they were going outside to play and she just ran up to her teacher, took her hand and did not look back once! I went to the living room and sat on the couch and rested, at one point Ms. Karen came by and told me Elizabeth was doing just fine. I was scheduled to be gone for an hour. Well the hour crept by for me! I missed her tons, I couldn't wait to get back to the class to see her. I just love being there with her. Anyway I go back in the class and there she is with a smock on doing an art project. She looked so darn cute! Ms. Karen said she did not ask for me at all, and did beautifully! Sniff sniff! Just kidding. I did miss her so much, but I'm soooooo PROUD of her! She does well in school and does not fall apart without me. Next week I'm scheduled to leave again... and this time I have to stay out for more than an hour - HELP!

Well I've decided that I am going to make an appointment with my IVF doctor for January to discuss possibly doing IVF again. I want to see what he thinks, and if they will still do the same protocol. Should be interesting. Then Tom and I need to think real hard and decide if we should have another love bear.

Santa

We had the best Thanksgiving. So much food and fun. I loved every minute. Elizabeth loved having her family here, and she had such a wonderful time playing with her cousin baby Madison.

On Friday we took her to have Christmas pictures done. She has a beautiful dress that came with a matching dress for her doll, April. I can't begin to describe how ADORABLE both her and the doll looked. After pictures we took her to see Santa Claus. She was beyond excited! At our mall they have a whole little scene to walk through that includes a snow globe that actually has snow falling on you as you walk through. Well Elizabeth could've cared less, she just wanted to get to her Santa. She has no fear at all, she loves him! She went right up and put out her arms so he could pick her up. She was talking away to him, and petting the fur on his sleeve. Santa loved her! People around stopped to watch her b/c she was so cute! The camera girl would call her name and she would look at the camera and give the sweetest little smiles, but then turn right back to Santa and continue to talk to him. She is so CUTE beyond words. Of course Tom and I were just beaming with love and pride! Here is a picture of her with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

I just can't wait for Christmas. I turly don't know how Tom and I ever had Christmas without Elizabeth. She makes life so perfect. Brings tears to my eyes. I'm starting my decorating this week. We won't get the tree until next weekend, but I have tons of other stuff to put up this week. Elizabeth asked Santa for a kitchen and dog. The kitchen is here in my office room waiting to be put together, and the dog should be here this week. I'm sooooo EXCITED, I can't wait for Christmas morning!

Cassie post pictures of your decos and tree! I can't wait to see.

Thanksgiving

Well I'm finally getting around to posting! I have so much to update about!

Ok, we've been in the new house for a month and a day. We LOVE it soooo much! We truly made the right choice by moving up here. The house is wonderful. I'm really enjoying putting things away and setting up all the rooms. It has been a lot of work, but I'm thrilled. Elizabeth is so funny about the house, she still calls it "the new house". If we've been out and about and we come home I will say to her "we're home" and she says "no, this is the new house". I laugh my head off. The second day we were here she was really tired, and started to cry and tell me that she wanted to go home. I told her we were home, and that made her cry harder and yell "this isn't home this is the new house!". Despite that she has adjusted very well. I was worried that she would have trouble sleeping the first few nights, but she had so problem at all.

So tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I love love love this time of year. The holidays are the best. I'm so looking forward to tomorrow, and having everyone over for the feast. We are having 14 people, it's going to be great.

I don't a lot of pictures of the house yet, but I will take some this weekend, and post them soon. I do have some pictures of Elizabeth on our new sectional, outside in her sandbox, and a few others so I will post those.
